DDrive ("we", "us", "our") operates the DDrive mobile application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

DDrive provides on-demand driver services. To operate the Service we need to collect and process certain personal data such as phone numbers, profile details, location, and device identifiers. We strive to protect your privacy and keep your data secure.

2.1 Information you provide
- Phone number: Required for login and account association.
- Profile details: Full name and email address when you complete your profile.
- Support and feedback: Messages, photos or other content you send to our support team.
- Payment details: We do not store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by third-party providers; only transaction references are kept.
2.2 Automatically collected information
- Location data: Precise GPS location during active trips. Background location (if granted) is used only for live tracking during an active trip.
- Device & usage information: Device model, OS version, app version, unique device identifiers, crash logs and analytics events.
- FCM token: Firebase Cloud Messaging token for push notifications (ride updates, alerts).
- IP address & network data: For fraud detection and analytics.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Provide, operate and maintain the Service (driver matching, live tracking, trip history).
- Authenticate users and maintain account access.
- Send notifications (ride status, promotions) using FCM.
- Process payments and refunds via third-party payment processors.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and illegal use.
- Improve our products through analytics and aggregated metrics.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (EU Users)
- Contractual necessity: to provide the service you requested.
- Legitimate interests: to prevent fraud, improve services and ensure security.
- Consent: where explicitly requested (e.g., optional marketing, background location on Android).
5. Who We Share Data With
- Service providers: cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, payment processors, SMS and push providers (e.g., Firebase).
- Drivers: limited trip-related information (pickup/drop location, phone number) needed to complete the ride.
- Legal or safety: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, or acquisition.
6. Data Retention
- Account and profile data: retained until account deletion plus a short administrative period.
- Trip and transaction records: retained for accounting and dispute resolution (typically several years per local law).
- Logs and anonymized analytics: retained for product improvement.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal data.

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us to request deletion.
11. Technology Notes
- Firebase / FCM: Used for analytics, crash reporting and cloud messaging. Firebase's use of data is governed by their policies.
- Location: Foreground location is used for trip matching and navigation. Background location (if enabled) is used only during an active trip. You can disable background location in device settings.
- Storage: Local settings and non-sensitive cache are stored on device via secure storage.
12. International Transfers
We and our service providers may transfer personal data to countries other than your country of residence. We take steps to ensure adequate protection where required by law.
